Section 566
Relationship between guarantor and debtor

(1) The guarantor shall make the person who has to repay the debt or fulfill the obligation to repay the debt or fulfill the obligation according to the contract.
(2) If, while taking a loan or obligation, the debtor has given any asset or security to the guarantor in return for giving the surety, such person shall not have the right to mortgage, sell or transfer such asset or security in any other way without the consent of the debtor.
(3) If a loan or obligation has been taken for a specific purpose and a guarantee has been given for that purpose, the purpose, nature or conditions of such loan or obligation cannot be modified without the consent of the person giving the guarantee.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this section, in relation to the guarantor and the debtor, the same shall apply if otherwise written in the contract.
